An Nasc – Newsletter 22nd March 2019

Nóta ón bPríomhoide:
A Chairde,

Fáilte chuig nuachtlitir na seachtaine seo. Congratulations to our U16 Gaelic Football Team who had a 2-point victory over Portmarnock C.S. in this afternoon’s semi-final. Well done to all and to their coaches, Mr. McManus and Ms. Scanlon.

Teams of our Transition Year students have been busy today fundraising both within Coláiste Éanna and in the local community for the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day. Thanks to all involved and all who supported this event. This morning Enda McNulty, accompanied by Steve Crosby gave an inspiring motivational workshop to our 3rd and 4th year students in the Br. Donovan Hall. Thanks to Mr. McManus for organising and coordinating this worthwhile event.

A big congratulations to our U19 Soccer team, who again attained victory for Coláiste Éanna ! They beat St. Aidan’s yesterday in the Dubliln semi-final. Well done to all the panel, and their coaches, Mr. Hayden and Mr. Dalton. [Report available below.]

We assure our sixth year students of our prayers and support for the coming week as they undertake their Modern Language Oral Examinations for their Leaving Certificate. Go n-éirí an  t-ádh leo.

Le gach dea-ghuí

S. Ó Murchú
Principal
