12 Jan An Nasc – Newsletter 12th January 2018
Nóta ón bPríomhoide:
Guím athbhliain faoi mhaise daoibh go léir. Fáilte go dtí an chéad eagrán don ‘Nasc’. Happy New Year and welcome to the first edition of ‘An Nasc’ (‘The Link’), our electronic newsletter for the Parents and Guardians. Its aim is to keep you abreast of dates, events and information about Coláiste Éanna C.B.S. and our community throughout the academic year. Editions will be emailed to you in ‘pdf’ format on a regular basis and will also be posted on the School Website.
We wish to acknowledge the achievements, successes and excellent work being undertaken by our students and staff. Thus we kindly request that you give your consent for photographs of your son to be included in Coláiste Éanna’s newsletters, electronic newsletters and school website. Should you wish your son’s photograph not to appear in any or all of these formats, please advise the school by contacting the secretary on 01-4931767 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before Thursday, 18th January, 2018 (4pm). Photographs will appear in next week’s An Nasc.
I wish to welcome Mr. Oliver Gleeson to our English Department, substituting for Ms. Hilary Kenefick, who is on maternity leave. As you are aware from the media, there is a shortage of substitute teachers, and we have had difficulty in sourcing a French teacher to date to cover Ms. Kenefick’s French classes. As a result, we have made some internal adjustments to the timetables of our French teachers to cater for these classes.
Le gach dea-ghuí,
S. Ó Murchú
